How to Increase Pixel Size

104 12
    • 1). Launch your website editor and open the page or post where the embedded item is. Display the page in HTML code. Do this in Microsoft FrontPage by clicking the "HTML" button at the bottom of the screen. Other programs should have an HTML display button somewhere next to the edit page box.

    • 2). Scroll down until you find the embedded item. The embed code should begin with a less-than symbol (<) and end with a greater-than symbol (>). The codes for Internet videos will be much longer than the HTML code for a single image.

    • 3). Look through the code until you find the item's "HEIGHT=" and "WIDTH=" values. You should also notice a number in quote marks after the two values -- these are the current pixel height and width measurements for the item as it is on your site.

    • 4). Delete the current height and width values and insert your new desired pixel measurements. For example, enter and if you want your media item to be increased to a 640 x 640 pixel square.

    • 5). Preview your page and check the media item has been increased in size enough. Return and increase the pixel values even more if you need to.
