Homemade Lamp Ring Oil
- 1). Measure 16 ounces of isopropyl alcohol with a measuring cup and pour the alcohol into a glass bowl. Essential oils can create smoke when heated, so the alcohol is added to dilute the oils. The alcohol will burn away when warmed and should not interfere with the essential oil scent.
- 2). Add 12 drops of essential oil to the bowl. Stir the mixture thoroughly with a spoon.
- 3). Place the funnel on top of the opening of the jar. Pour the mixture into the jar and close the lid tightly.
- 4). Place a label onto the jar and write the ingredients and date created on the label. Store the oil for up to six months in a dark area.
