Waxing Thick Eyebrows
- 1). Take a pencil and place it aside your nose, straight up toward the inner corner of your eye. Mark the outside of the pencil along your brow with a kohl pencil. Do this to the other eye. This is the area where you will want your brows to begin.
- 2). Take your pencil and place it from the side of your nostril to the outer corner of your eye. Take your kohl pencil and mark the outside of the pencil. Repeat on your other eye. This will be the end of your eyebrow.
- 3). Brush your eyebrows up toward the top of your forehead. This will help you define which hairs need to be waxed.
- 4). Take a small amount of wax and place it on any stray hairs that fall outside of the kohl line right above your nose. Cover the wax with a waxing strip and pull your skin tightly. Remove the strip quickly, pulling against the direction of the hair growth.
- 5). Place a small amount of wax on the hair outside the kohl line on the outermost area of your eyebrow. Place the waxing strip on the wax. Pull the skin tightly and remove the strip in the opposite direction of your hair growth.
- 6). Place wax on the lower section of your eyelid. You are removing the excess stray hairs from underneath your eyebrow. You are not yet defining your eyebrow's shape. Place a waxing strip on top of the wax and quickly pull the strip in the opposite direction of your hair growth. Repeat on your opposite eye.
- 7). Place a very small amount of wax underneath your eyebrow on the area you wish to wax. Be careful not to remove too much hair. You are now defining the shape of your eyebrow. You can always go back over the section later if you have a large section of stray hairs. Place the waxing strip on the wax. Pull the skin tightly and remove the strip in the direction opposite your hair growth.
- 8). Clean the area you just waxed with an antiseptic lotion created for the eye area.
- 9). Examine the shape of your eyebrows and use your tweezers to clean up any stray hairs the waxing missed.
