Purple Polka Dots

• 1). Paint a base coat on your nails with a dark purple.
  
  
• 2). Allow the base coat to dry for 10 to 15 minutes.
  
  
• 3). Open a bottle of lighter purple and put three drops onto a paper plate.
  
  
• 4). Dip the tip of a toothpick into the light purple and lightly touch the tip of the toothpick onto your nail to create a polka dot. Do as many polka dots as you want and then move on to the next nail. You can do every other nail, just the thumbs or all 10 nails; it's up to you.
  
  
• 5). Allow the polka dots 30 minutes to dry and then apply a top clear coat to seal your design and keep the polish from chipping.
  
  

Purple Flowers

• 1). Paint a base coat on your nails in a light shade of any color you prefer. It can be pink, yellow, french manicure or any other color as long as it's lighter than your dark purple.
  
  
• 2). Allow the base coat to dry for 10 to 15 minutes.
  
  
• 3). Open your dark purple and put three drops onto a paper plate.
  
  
• 4). Dip the tip of your toothpick into the purple and create a flower on your nail by making five dots in a circle.
  
  
• 5). Drag a clean toothpick through eat dot and toward the center of the circle to create the flower shape. Allow the nails to dry for five minutes. Put a drop of clear nail polish onto a paper plate and dip the tip of a clean toothpick into the polish. Pick up a rhinestone by touching the top to the toothpick and then dip the rhinestone into the clear nail polish. Position the rhinestone in the center of your flower and press firmly. Allow the polish to dry for 30 minutes and then apply a clear top coat.
  
  

Purple Hearts

• 1). Paint your nails a base color of your choosing and allow them to dry for 10 to 15 minutes.
  
  
• 2). Put three drops of purple (lighter or darker depending on your base color) onto a paper plate.
  
  
• 3). Dip a clean toothpick into the polish and make two dots on your nail. The dots should just barely touch.
  
  
• 4). Dip your toothpick in the polish again and paint two diagonal lines down from the dots to create the point of the heart.
  
  
• 5). Fill the heart in and allow it to dry for 30 minutes. Apply a clear top coat.
