How to Make a Closure on a Braided Bracelet
- 1). Leave an additional inch of string on either end of the braided bracelet.
- 2). Insert one end of the bracelet through the eye loop clasp. Wrap the string through the loop twice and place the excess string against the bracelet string just below the loop.
- 3). Use one hand to hold the strings and the other hand to wrap jewelry wire around the two strings four to five times. Keep the wire in line and tight.
- 4). Squeeze the wire-wrapped string with the pliers to secure the wire. Cut off any excess string.
- 5). Loop the other end of the bracelet through the small loop on the hook clasp. Run the string through twice and place the excess string against the bracelet string just below the hook.
- 6). Hold the strings together with one hand and wrap thing jewelry wire around them four to five times. Align the wire together tightly.
- 7). Pinch the wire together with the pliers to secure the wire beneath the hook clasp. Snip off any excess string with the scissors.
