How to Apply Pre-glued Linoleum Tiles
- 1). Divide the floor into four quadrants, using your chalk snap line to lay two wall-to-wall lines that intersect at the middle of the room. Lay a square at the intersection of the lines as you snap them to ensure they are exactly 90 degrees off each other.
- 2). Pull the wax paper off the back of a linoleum tile. Press it firmly to the floor, at the intersection, so two edges of the tile are bordered by two chalk lines.
- 3). Pull the wax paper off a second tile. Set it next to the tile, pressing edges tightly to one another.
- 4). Repeat the process for each tile, laying them off each other and building from the middle outward toward the perimeter of the room.
- 5). Measure and cut tiles for the perimeter. Make the cuts by scoring the tile along the edge of your square with a razor knife, then snapping the tile in two at the scored line. Lay the tiles so the cut sides face the walls.
