- Many men experience a loss in vision as they grow older. So give them a birthday gift that will make their daily lives a little bit easier. Purchase a watch or clock with large numbers on the face, allowing him to read the time without squinting. Or you could give him a remote control or telephone with large buttons that he can see and press easier.
- Consider the elderly man's hobbies when coming up with gift ideas. Get a fisherman a new fishing rod, scaling knife, bait, lures or waders.
