How to Make an Access Report Into MS Word
- 1). Open the report.
- 2). Go to the "External Data" tab.
- 3). Click on the Word icon on the "Export" panel.
- 4). Browse to the location to save the Access report to. The "Export - RTF" dialog box opens.
- 5). Place a check in the box beside "Open the destination file after the export operation is complete."
- 6). Press "OK." If desired, the export steps can be saved. The "Export - RTF File" dialog box will appear. To save the export steps, place a check in the box beside "Save export steps" then press "Close." If it is not necessary to save the steps, click "Close" without taking any action.
- 7). Go to the Word document. Click on the Office icon in the upper left corner of the window. Go to "Save As" then "Word Document."
- 8). Name the file then press "Save."
