3D animation is, without a doubt, the fastest growing creative technology in the world. Computer animation is no longer limited to the desktop. Live-action films, interactive games and corporate presentations utilize 3D animation on a daily basis. For being available only a short number of years, 3D animation has grown amazingly popular and shows no signs of losing momentum. - The New York Film Academy offers a four-week camp where high school students write, animate, direct and edit computer animated short films. Campers learn Maya 3D Animation Software with expert instructors. This camp is intended for those with little to no animation experience. At the camp’s conclusion, students receive copies of their own work.
