Start Each Day In A Good Mood It's imperative for the managers to have the realization that their mood matters most for the team.
Any of the teammates in a not so good mood is naturally dismissed by rest of the members of the team.

Managers coming to work in a frustrated or stressed mood dampen the spirits of employees which causes them lose some level of motivation.
As a manager, you need to practice arriving at office in good spirits and positive mood with that ready to fire attitude.
You should look and sound optimistic.
Continue Offering Regular Feedback The manager needs to keep track of the performance of all members of his team, not only to help himself but also his staff.
People like to know how they are performing.
Keep the workers informed of their achievements and do offer positive healthy analysis of their contribution to achieving common goal of the team.
Unless the manager keeps track of the activities of his team he won't be able to provide this feedback so necessary for keeping the staff motivated.
While appreciating the positive contribution of employees is important, it is equally important to have constructive criticism of their contribution enabling them to improve upon their performance and remain motivated.
Help People Grow One benefit of positive criticism is that it helps the employees to grow.
You are not being critical to find flaws but helping them improve.
Everybody wants to grow, and improvement is necessary for growth in today's competitive world.
Continuous development is essentially needed for keeping people motivated to achieve goals.
You have to constantly keep looking for ways to boost the motivational levels of people working with you in a manner enabling them to recognize the efforts being put by the organization to help them grow.
Give People Choice An essential constituent of fundamental motivation is independence.
Once people get that feeling of being independent they begin to feel that they have some control over their destinies.
It's not desirable to have a headmaster kind of an attitude towards people.
In management language it means micromanagement of employees.
Such an attitude on the part of the management is detrimental to employees' motivation.
It gives them the feeling of being dictated rather than giving the feel of being a part of the organization.
There are many aspects to employee motivation but the manager has to remain innovative in finding what best works for his team.
It's not unusual for some of the adopted measures to fail in bringing the desired level of motivation.
Having learned the ways of keeping his team inspired is one aspect and certainly an important one, but an equally important aspect is how he implements these for the benefits of different members of his team.
