- 1). Plug the 3.5mm connector into your iPod in the same place where you would plug the earbuds or headphones. Once connected, the screen on the FM transmitter should say "Auto On."
- 2). Turn on your car or home radio system and tune it to a channel with a weak broadcast signal. According to the user manual, the best station is one that is not broadcasting a radio program.
- 3). Press the "+" or "-" button on the FM transmitter. Continue pressing either button until your transmitter is on the same radio station as the car or home radio system.
- 4). Locate a song or album you want to play on your iPod and press "Play."
- 5). Adjust the volume on your iPod so that it is on a medium level. Repeat the same step on your FM radio.
