- Spamgourmet is a disposable email service that will forward emails to another email address that you wish to remain protected. You set up an account with a username on their site ahead of time, which is linked to your actual email address. When you want to use a disposable email, you enter an email address into this site following the formula "word.x.username"@spamgourmet.com, where "word" can be any word you haven't used before, x is the number of emails you want forwarded from the address and "username" is your username. As soon as the number of emails that you've indicated is reached, the address is deleted.
- As its name suggests, 10 Minute Mail allows users to set up an email account that disappears after ten minutes. As soon as you open the site on your browser the timer starts, then you enter the email indicated into whichever site that you'd like to use and any authentication email appears in the temporary inbox on the 10 Minute Mail website. After the ten minutes is up, the email self destructs.
- GuerrillaMail doesn't require an email registration, and allows you to create temporary email addresses that last for an hour that you can check at the inbox provided on their website. You have control over what the actual email address is though they control the domain. They also have "Extend" and "Forget Me" options that allow you to keep the address for longer than an hour or delete the address before the time limit is up. The site also has a Tetris-like game to play while you wait for emails to arrive.
