Are You Flogging A Dead Horse? - Move On!
You must be willing to let go and move one when there is lack of integrity or the "horse is dead" which means there is no love, no sincerity and no value in the "vehicle" or "business" or "relationship" that you are involved in!
If your objective is to get from point A to point B and your car has one wheel missing, you either stop to repair the car or get a new car. Buckminster Fuller said it so well: "Integrity is the essence of everything." Whatever you do always ask this question: "Is what I am doing will benefit people or harm them?
You cannot achieve success if there is no love, integrity and sincerity and you must qualify people and select businesses that have these important qualities, they form the foundation of whatever you are building, whether it is a relationship or a business!
Start with yourself, do you have these important qualities? Do you love people and want the best for them, do you believe integrity is the foundation of everything? Are you being true to yourself and others? Do you say what you mean and mean what you say and deliver what you promised?
You cannot win the race if you are riding a sick horse, choose the right horse and treat the horse well, you do not have to flog it if you know how to ride the horse well, a strong tap will get it running and that is why whatever you do you must master the skill and learn how to identify a winner!
People are basically the same and there are three categories of them, those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who ask: "What happen?". You must associate with positive people who make things happen and learn from those who are successful and be willing to do what the successful people are doing!
If you continue to do what you are doing, you will continue to get what you are getting. You must be willing to change for the better!
Charlie Tremendous Jones said that five years from today the difference in your life will be because of the books you read and the people you meet. If you want a better life, read better books and mix with better people.
If it is not working, ask why? And remember to check yourself, find out what are the things you are doing right or wrong and look for a mentor or coach who is willing to guide you on your success journey.
It is very silly, foolish and stupid to make your own mistakes when you can learn from other people's mistakes and if you think education is expensive, try ignorance!
You must be willing to invest in personal development and business education and be willing to take risk. It takes courage to make positive changes to your life. There is a Chinese saying: I rather live one day as a tiger than hundred years as a sheep!"
For things to change, you must change and the world is rapidly changing and those who are not willing to keep up will be left behind! So are you still flogging a dead horse? Get a good horse and move on!
