Big Green Clean Machine Instructions
- 1). Place the dry filter bag over the cage on the back of the cleaning machine so the edges are over the lip at the bottom of the cage. This is the first step to setting up the machine to do a dry vacuum, which you must do before deep cleaning your carpet.
- 2). Insert the plastic ball on the raised area at the bottom of the tank. Place the ball cage over the ball and press firmly down until it locks into place. Position the ball cage over the ball and press firmly onto the raised area until it locks into place.
- 3). Attach one of the four vacuuming tools onto the end of the tank siphon tube. Attach the other end of this tube into the hole on the tank unit. Flip the "Vacuum" switch to the "On" position and move the vacuuming tool over the carpet in a sweeping motion.
- 4). Remove the dry filter bag and the cage from the tank. Empty the contents of the dry filter bag into a trash can and set the bag aside. Remove the measuring cup from the side of the tank and pour 2 gallons of hot water into the hole left by the measuring cup.
- 5). Fill the measuring cup up with 10 ounces of Bissell Carpet Care solution. Pour the solution into the hole and replace the measuring cup. Remove the vacuuming tool from the end of the hose and replace it with the floor nozzle brush.
- 6). Flip the "Pump" and "Vacuum" switches into the "On" position. Use the floor nozzle to sweep the carpet. As you sweep, pull the trigger on the handle to spray cleaning solution on the carpet. Continue until no dirt is present. When the dirt is gone, release the trigger and vacuum up any left over water.
