How many times do you flip through open applications to find the spreadsheet, document, or website you were working on? Usually, you'll click open applications on the Taskbar until you find what you are looking for. Or, if you are a little more advanced, you use the Alt + Tab keyboard shortcut to quickly flip through open applications, however doing that can be time consuming and inefficient.

In Windows 7, a new feature called Aero Peek allows you to quickly take a glance at open applications without a single click. To use this feature follow the instructions below.
Clicking on the application preview will bring the selected application window to the front so that you can begin using the program.

- Place your cursor over the open application icon on the taskbar. You will notice that a small preview of each open window will appear; even multiple tabs in Internet Explorer are displayed individually.
- When you find the application you wish to use, simply click on the preview and the window will appear.
