  Tier flower arrangements are decorations with multiple layers, usually stacked together. For example, a large square covered with daisies and topped with a small square covered with daisies is a two-tier flower arrangement. The tiered style results in tall and highly visible floral decorations. The decorations are suitable for a variety of uses, including table centerpieces, garden accents and general decor.
  
  

Contemporary Tiered Flowers

• Combine sharp lines, clear glass and spiky flowers to create a two-tiered flower arrangement with a contemporary style. Center a 1-foot tall, 6-inch wide, rectangular, clear glass vase inside a 6-inch tall, 1-foot wide, rectangular, clear glass vase. Fill each vase 1/3 full with tiny, clear, flat glass stones.
  
  Fill the short vase half-full with water, and add assorted white and orange gerbera daisies. Cut the daisies so that the flowers sit right above the rim of the short vase. Fill the tall vase half-full with water. Add white gerbera daisies, cut so that the flower sits right above the rim.
  
  

Earthy Tiered Flowers

• Stack dirt-filled, terra cotta pots together, and plant some flowers to create an earthy tiered flower arrangement you can use to decorate a porch or garden. Fill a large plant pot 3/4 full with potting soil and dirt. Press the mixture down gently to make it semi-compact. Fill a medium plant pot using the same method, and center it inside the large pot. Fill a small plant pot, and center it inside the medium pot.
  
  Plant a basic, hearty green plant in the bottom terra cotta pot to create a leafy green base for the decoration. Plant a "short wildflower mix" in the medium pot for a bold assortment of color. The seed or starter mixes are available at any garden store. Plant a few delicate flowers in the small pot, such as assorted purple and yellow pansies.
  
  

Fancy Tiered Flowers

• Turn a tall, three-tiered, golden candelabrum into a fancy flower arrangement that can serve as a table centerpiece, fireplace mantel decoration or hallway table accent. Use a candelabrum with a center candleholder taller than the two side candleholders. Wrap a 1-inch wide, white silk ribbon around the base of the candelabrum, and tie it in a small bow.
  
  Combine white ribbon, three cream silk roses and three white silk rosebuds to decorate the top of each candleholder. Use the white ribbon to create a large, six-loop bow, and cut off the ends. Cut the stem from a large, cream, silk rose, and secure it to the top of the bow. Cut the stem from a small, white, silk rosebud, and secure it in the middle of the cream rose. Secure the decoration to the top of a candleholder. Repeat process with two remaining candleholders.
