Auto festivals are exhibitions designed to share information to those in the auto industry as well as educate consumers with a passion for automobiles. Many auto festivals for consumers are attended by automakers in an effort to generate interest and build leads from potential buyers. There are hundreds of auto festivals across the world and Germany is host to several. Often, these festivals bring together consumers, manufacturers and distributors in an effort to share the latest advancements and innovations in the automobile industry. - The International Motor Show is an auto show festival designed for those who develop and manufacture vehicles, as well as auto enthusiasts. In 2010, the IAA show was held at Hanover Fairgrounds in Hanover, Germany. Hosted by the Verband der Automobil Industrie, the IAA is held annually. On odd numbered years, the theme is passenger cars and on even-numbered years, the focus of the show is commercial vehicles. At the IAA show, vehicles showcase alongside over 500 supply industry exhibitors.
- This German auto show is for motor sports professionals, with a focus on vehicle tuning. A similar event, SEMA, is held in the United States. At this auto show, motor sports professionals, drivers, teams and support crews come together with the manufacturing side of the business. Displays are on hand from logistics, paddock equipment, communications companies and more.
- This international automobile show is held annually in Leipzig, Germany and is for those in the automobile industry. This auto show is important to Europe, as it takes place in the first six months of the year and encourages informed automobile commerce. The focus of the show is on service station equipment, vehicle parts and general automobile workshops. Conferences are held throughout the show, bringing together manufacturers, importers and exporters in Europe.
- This German auto show puts the focus on classic automobiles. This event has an average of 500 exhibitors and is open to consumers as well as trade experts. This showcase of classic cars will focus on educational aspects of tuning and maintenance, as well as provide history on these classic vehicles. The Bremen Classic Motorshow will be held in the Bremen Conference and Convention Center in Bremen, Germany.
