One simple way is to join groups in your target market and connect with others within that group.
Be sure to always introduce yourself.
This means when you send a friend request, write a small message with it like mentioning which group you found them in and why you would like to connect with them.
Remember this is not a sales pitch it is about getting to know them.
Don't just forget about people once you've connect with them once.
Keep interacting with them by leaving comments or sharing their content with your friends.
