104 9

    Visit Dunn's River Falls--Ocho Rios

    • Jamaica is home to many beautiful waterfalls, but Dunn's River Falls may very well be one of the most notable. This is because people climb up the waterfall. There are two ways to do it: with a tour guide or on your own. Those who have children may want to have a guide lead them up the falls. Those who are feeling adventurous may venture up the falls on their own. For those who don't want to climb, relax on the beach down below and take in the beautiful view of the Falls from there.

    Visit Somerset Falls--Port Antonio

    • Somerset Falls is another beautiful waterfall. Don't forget your camera for this one. Many guests choose to rent a gondola and approach the falls by boat. Many others choose to swim or hike there. Either way, Somerset Falls is a must-see for those in the Port Antonio area.

    Sample Some Jamaican Fare

    • There is no excuse to go to Jamaica and not at least sample some real Jamaican cooking. There are plenty of places to get some real Jamaican cuisine, from fine restaurants near your hotel to stands near the road. They are especially famous for their rice and peas and jerk chicken and jerk pork.

    Visit the Bob Marley Museum--Kingston

    • There are lots of museums in Jamaica that pay tribute to Bob Marley, but none of them do so as well as the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston.

Swim with Dolphins at Dolphin Cove--Ocho Rios

    • Dolphin Cove is a great spot for the whole family. There is a private beach at the Cove, as well as the opportunity to swim with dolphins for an additional charge. There are also animal shows, musicians and plenty of photo opportunities. Make a whole day out of an excursion to Dolphin Cove.

    Go Snorkeling or Scuba Diving

    • Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities all over the Jamaican island. Although the reefs are endangered by human activity and climate change, they are still a sight to behold. You will see all types of underwater wildlife on a successful scuba or snorkel excursion. Don't know how to scuba or snorkel? You can get lessons, too.
