How to Make Lilies Float
- 1). Fill a bowl ½ to 2/3 full of lukewarm water, about 75 degrees Fahrenheit. The flowers will last longer in lukewarm water than cold water.
- 2). Cut the stems off the lilies so they are only about 1 inch long.
- 3). Set the lilies into the water, with the stem facing the surface of the water, until they are floating on top of the water. If the lilies are too heavy to float, cut the stems shorter by ½ inch.
