Stop by your local nursery and ask them questions on what is best to grow in your area and what kind of care it will need.
You might be able to find some exotic Bonsai trees that are beautiful to look at and are hard to find anywhere else.
You might be able to grow them inside or outside.
It depends on how they grow and what is best for the tree.
