How to Make a Flash in PowerPoint
- 1). Make sure the Flash Player is installed on your computer. If it is not, it will need to be downloaded to complete this task.
- 2). Open Microsoft PowerPoint and select the slide you want to make a Flash file appear in.
- 3). Click "File," click "Options," and then click "Customize Ribbon."
- 4). Check the box labeled "Developer" found on the right list and then click "OK."
- 5). On the Developer tab click "More Controls." Then click "Shockwave Flash Object" and again click "OK." Drag on the slide to draw the Flash control. Resize the object by moving the sizing handles.
- 6). Right-click the Flash object and and then click "Properties." Select the "Alphabetic" tab and click "Movie."
- 7). In the value column, type the complete drive path, including the name of the file, or the URL of the Flash file. The Flash file will now be made part of the PowerPoint presentation.
