How to Burn a Boot Disk From an ISO File
- 1). Open the CD/DVD burning software. There are a number of free, downloadable CD/DVD burning programs that can burn ISO images on the Internet. Many of these programs can be found at snoekonline.com (see link in the Reference section).
- 2). Insert the blank CD/DVD into the computer's CD/DVD burning drive.
- 3). Browse to the ISO file while in the burning program, then burn the file. The browsing structure may be different for different programs. For programs with a browsing window similar to Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder where the ISO file is, then select the file in the browsing window and click "Burn Disc." For some programs, you may need to click on "Burn" in the top menu, then select "Burn image..." This will prompt you to browse and find the image. When you select it and press OK, the burn will start.
