A backyard pool is a relaxing space where homeowners can escape the hot weather. Create a stylish addition to your outdoor living space by filling in the area around your pool with pavers. Pavers blend naturally into the environment and provide a safe surface that is not slippery. Review a wide variety of ideas for decorating the area around your pool that incorporate pavers. - Match the color of your pool pavers to the roof of your house, which helps to seamlessly blend the two areas together. If you have a gray roof, don't go for bright red pool pavers; instead opt for slate-colored ones. The shades of the roof and the pavers don't have to be identical, but select the same hue. Light gray pavers look attractive with black or dark gray roofs, and a light brown roof looks good with dark brown pavers.
- Create a pattern. Add some visual interest to the pool area by using different shapes and colors of pool pavers. If your pool is round, make small circles with one color with the rest of the area filled in with another color. Patterns you can create are limited only by your creativity.
