    • 1). Find an appropriate area within the cabin area of your Honda S2000 on which to connect your XM satellite radio receiver unit. After finding a spot on your dashboard or windshield that does not affect the safe and proper operation of your vehicle, use the sticky adhesive on the bottom of the unit to stick the unit to your dashboard or windshield.

    • 2). Use the step stool to access the back trunk of your Honda S2000 and find an appropriate spot to hold the satellite antenna down. Unlike most vehicles, the S2000 has a retractable roof, so you must place the antenna on the back trunk area. Find a spot that is level and has a clear line of vision to the sky. On the bottom of the antenna will be a black sticker -- peel off this sticker and place your antenna in the spot you have chosen.

    • 3). Plug the cord on the back of the antenna into the area labeled "Audio In" and pull the cord through an opening in the back of the trunk toward the front dashboard of your S2000. According to the XM user manual, you want to make sure that the cord has absolutely no slack so it cannot get caught on anything inside your vehicle. Once you have reached the front your vehicle, plug the cord into the back of the XM receiver. Use the automotive tape to keep the cord in place and out of the way.
