How to Add a Referenced Picture to an HTML Email in Outlook 2007

    • 1). Open the email message to which you want to add a referenced picture in its own window.

    • 2). Click the "Options" tab on the Ribbon. When the Options Ribbon appears, ensure that "HTML" is selected in the Format section.

    • 3). Position your cursor at the point in the message where the picture should appear.

    • 4). Click the "Insert" tab on the Ribbon. When the Insert Ribbon appears, click the "Picture" icon in the Illustrations section. This opens an Insert Pictures dialog box.

    • 5). Navigate to the location where the referenced picture is stored, select it and click "Insert." The picture appears in the email at the location of the cursor. Use the standard image controls to resize the image as necessary.
