How to Use a Stampin Up Aqua Writer
- 1). Press the rubber stamp image you want to use on your paper craft into the color ink pad you want to use. Make sure that all of the lines on the stamp are covered in ink so that the rubber stamp image transfers completely to the paper.
- 2). Stamp the paper with the rubber stamp. Press down on the top to transfer the image.
- 3). Identify the first area on the picture that you want to color. For example, if you have a beach scene that you have stamped on to the front of a greeting card, then you may start by coloring the sun in the picture yellow. Decide which color tool you want to use to color in the sun. If you choose watercolor paint, then dip your Aqua Writer into the yellow watercolor paint.
- 4). Press down on the Aqua Writer softly so that it wets the bristles of the Aqua Writer pen. Slide the bristles of the pen around in the watercolor paint until there is liquid yellow paint.
- 5). Touch the painted bristles inside of the lines you want to color and slide the Aqua Writer around to paint the sun. If the color starts to run out, re-dip your Aqua Writer into the watercolor paint.
- 6). Wipe the bristles of the brush of the Aqua Writer clean with a paper towel or cloth before moving on to the next color.
