Find People by Email Address - Here"s How to Find the Information You Need
If you are trying to find people by email address, you have probably lost touch with an old friend and are looking for ways to get back in touch.
This happens all the time, and it would be really nice if we could just access a big database of email addresses where we could simply input names or addresses and it would spit out the information we wanted.
Wouldn't that be great? While this is possible for some types of data, it seems it is difficult to find such an animal when you are searching for a person's email, or trying to find a person via their email address.
Sometimes it can get really frustrating and aggravating looking all over the place and not finding what you are looking for.
I know that I have, in the past, felt like pulling my hair out in frustration over this very subject.
There are a few things you can try in order to get the info you need, and I'll list them here.
I've used all of these methods and it just varies which one works the best.
It really depends on your situation.
First, you should do the most obvious thing which you probably already thought of but - just in case - I'll include it here.
(I find that sometimes I miss things that are quite obvious.
) So to begin, just put in your friend's name (or their email if you are searching for the owner of it) into one of the major search engines.
I would recommend trying these three: Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
Some people thing they all bring back the same results, but actually I get slightly different results with all of them.
So don't limit yourself, try all three.
And if you have plenty of time on your hands, you can even try some of the smaller ones too.
If that doesn't work, you should search some of the social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace.
These type of sites have really taken off lately, and almost everyone is a member of at least one of them.
You may be able to type in the person's email address and locate them by searching these sites.
I'll be honest with you though, I've had some trouble finding free methods of doing reverse email searches.
But even so, it's worth a try.
If you haven't had any luck yet I would just go ahead and use one of the paid services because it really does save you a lot of hassle since you can just type in the email and find the person right away.
