Handle Assembly

• 1). Set the Hoover Pet Cyclonic vacuum upright, and locate the hollow housing assembly at the top of the vacuum.
  
  
• 2). Use a Phillips-head screwdriver and remove the two screws inside the housing assembly. Keep both screws close at hand because you will them shortly.
  
  
• 3). Orient the handle section above the housing assembly so that it is facing the rear of the vacuum.
  
  
• 4). Fit the handle section inside the housing assembly until you hear a "click."
  
  
• 5). Thread the two screws in the screw holes on either side of the handle section. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to tighten each screw.
  
  

Tools Assembly

• 1). Grasp one of the two Hoover Pet Cyclonic wands. Each is tubular in shape and longer than the similarly-shaped crevice tool.
  
  
• 2). Fit the narrower end of the wand into one of the side-by-side collars located toward the bottom of the back of your Hoover Pet Cyclonic vacuum.
  
  
• 3). Attach the other end of the wand to the clip directly above the collar. A second collar and clip, next to the first pair, hold the second wand to the vacuum.
  
  
• 4). Insert the tapered end of the crevice tool inside either wand.
  
  
• 5). Attach the air-powered hand tool to the clip at the base of the front of the handle. Of the two remaining tools, the air-powered hand tool has a rotating bristle brush on its underside.
  
  
• 6). Attach the dusting tool to the collar on the side of the Hoover Pet Cyclonic.
