Kids DIY Pagoda Bird Feeder
- 1). Cut an empty, plastic milk jug in half, width wise, using a pen knife. Discard the top half of the milk jug. This bottom half of the milk jug will become a pagoda bird feeder.
- 2). Sand the cut edges of the milk jug half using fine-grain sandpaper to remove any sharp or jagged edges. Use small, circular motions with the sandpaper.
- 3). Poke a hole in the middle of each side using a nail. Position each hole so that it is 1 inch below the top edge. Sand the inside of each side where the hole was poked out to remove any jaggedness.
- 4). Wipe off the milk jug half using a washcloth to remove any plastic material left behind from the sanding.
- 5). Cut four pieces of twine to measure 12 inches long each. Tie a piece of twine through each hole of the milk jug half, then tie the other ends of the twine pieces together.
- 6). Fill the milk jug pagoda bird feeder with 4 cups of bird seeds, then hang it up by the twine.
