Washington DC New Years Thursday
Today is Washington DC New Years Thursday. I was woken up about five minutes before nine o'clock this morning. The first thing I saw were three faces: Sam, Colton, and Alyssa. Sam said that him and Colton had been up since eight. Alyssa was still in my arms where she had been since her seven thirty a.m. feeding. I was so tired after feeding her that I just passed out right on the couch with her still in my arms.
Last night, I went upstairs to bed at twelve thirty a.m., but I didn't fall asleep until almost one a.m.. Alyssa slept until like six a.m., so I was able to get five hours of washington d.c. new years' sleep before having to feed her again. I went back to my own bed after that feeding was over at about six thirty a.m.; that only lasted half an hour then she was awake again!
Anyway, I started work at nine a.m. I had to work literally five minutes after I woke up, so I wasn't able to eat anything before I started working. Luckily, Sam gave me part of a banana at about nine thirty a.m. Colton went down for a nap at ten or ten thirty a.m.. I fell asleep with Sam on the couch. We woke up in time for me to check my Washington DC New Years work again. He went upstairs for a nap. I worked until eleven thirty a.m. Then Alyssa was hungry again, so I fed her and played around on face book for a few minutes.
After she went to sleep, I got up and made myself some brunch and a cup of coffee (which I still haven't drank yet). I was going to make chicken salad to put on toast, but after I opened the chicken and began mixing in the ingredients, I realized there was not enough mayonnaise left in the jar. I mixed up what little there was with the mustard and hot sauce that were already in the bowl. Instead of using a whole can of chicken breast, I only used half and put the rest in a container in the refrigerator to use later. I put what I made on a piece of toast. On another piece of toast, I put two slices of deli turkey breast, a slice of Colby jack cheese, and pepper. I also drank a glass of new year's washington d.c. water.
I have been writing since I finished lunch. Now it is after twelve thirty p.m., and Colton has been stirring around upstairs. I am going to go get him and feed him and his sister lunch. I will write more later on this Washington DC New Years Thursday!
