AVS Video Converter

• 1). Download and install AVS Video Converter from the AVS 4 You website (see Resources) if you have a Windows-based computer. AVS Video Converter is a free converter program.
  
  
• 2). Launch AVS Video Converter.
  
  
• 3). Click on "To AVI" to set your output video file type to AVI.
  
  
• 4). Add your MTV videos by clicking "Browse" in the "Input File Name" field.
  
  
• 5). Convert by clicking "Convert Now."
  
  

iOrgsoft AMV Converter

• 1). Download and install the iOrgsoft AMV Converter from the iOrgsoft website (see Resources). The iOrgsoft AMV Converter only works with Mac computers. As of September 2010, the price for AMV Converter is $35.
  
  
• 2). Launch iOrgsoft AMV Converter.
  
  
• 3). Add your MTV files by clicking the "Add" button.
  
  
• 4). Click on the "Profile" drop-down menu to set your output video file type to AVI.
  
  
• 5). Convert the files by clicking the "Start" button.
  
  

Pavtube Video Converter

• 1). Download and install Pavtube Video Converter from the Pavtube website (see Resources). Pavtube Video Converter only works with Windows-based computers. As of September 2010, the price for Pavtube Video Converter is $35.
  
  
• 2). Launch Pavtube Video Converter.
  
  
• 3). Add your MTV files by clicking on "Add" from the tool bar.
  
  
• 4). Click on the "Settings" button by "Format" to set your output video file type to AVI.
  
  
• 5). Convert the files by clicking the "Convert" button.
