Article Marketing to Increase Your Credibility in Your Niche and Find New Prospects and Clients
Article marketing was the way I initially built my list, and continues to be an important part of my overall marketing strategy.
Even though marketing with articles takes some time to pay off, it is still one of the best ways to attract people to what you are doing and turn them into prospects and clients.
Writing articles did not come naturally to me, so I took the time to learn how it should be done.
For the first year I wrote articles that included a list of tips, mistakes, ideas, myths, or something else that could grab my reader's attention.
I no longer write articles that way, mainly because my list seems to be attracted to a more straightforward way of reading what I write in paragraph style.
Marketing my articles has now become much easier.
I have an established routine that works for me.
I make a list of my article ideas the day before I sit down to write.
Then I write an article, being sure to include my keywords in the title.
Then I submit the article to two different free directories and one paid distribution service.
My articles are typically about four hundred words, up from the three hundred word articles I wrote during my first year online.
After my articles are distributed, I make sure to market them in as many ways as possible.
This includes posting them on Twitter and Facebook, as well as adding them to separate pages on one of my web sites.
This have made my online presence increase dramatically during the past eight months or so.
My goal is to be everywhere, so as many people as possible can see if what I do on the internet will help them to reach their goals.
When people contact me and have a question on an aspect of internet marketing, I am very likely to answer them by including a link to one of my recent articles.
If I do not have an article that answers their question, I add that topic to my list for what I will write the next day.
The result is a body of work that can market me and my business in a very unique way.
Article marketing is not new, but it is an excellent way to build your credibility in your niche.
Every time you write an article you are sharing one more piece of the puzzle that may be just what your reader needs to move on to the next level in their online business.
