    Lavender Hybrid Tea Roses

    • Rose enthusiasts have crossbred different roses and have developed hybrid tea rose varieties. These plants have straight stems with single flowers on the top. Moreover, these plants serve as ideal specimen plants and cut flowers. Some lavender hybrid tea roses in this variety include Silver tar, Blue Nile, Blue Moon and Barbra Streisand.

      The sterling silver hybrid tea rose has a distinctive silver purple color with a traditional rose fragrance. This variety of lavender rose does not have a very vibrant color when compared to other varieties. These flowers have long strong stems with large flowers and dark green leaves.

      The blue nile lavender hybrid tea roses have long stems that produce large single flowers at the end. These flowers have a strong scent and bloom repeatedly all through the summer season. Hardy in 6 to 9 zones, the Blue Nile lavender roses bloom well in warm climatic conditions.

      The blue moon lavender roses are fragrant hybrid tea rose flowers that have long stems with a single flower at the end. This commercial variety of lavender roses are known for their strong and sweet fragrance. This flower blooms from summer to fall repeatedly and is most comfortable in sunny locations and when planted against a wall for protection. Hardy in 5 to 9 zones, its shrub can grow up to 6 feet in height and the climber can reach a height of as much as 12 feet.

      Barbra Streisand is a hybrid tea rose that possesses a deep lavender color and a citrus fragrance. The plant has large flowers that bloom throughout late spring and early summer. Hardy in 5 to 9 zones, its shrub can grow up to 6 feet in height.

    Floribunda Lavender Roses

    • These rose plants are shrubby with several flowers on each stem. Floribunda lavender roses grow in clusters and have a strong fragrance. These fragrant roses have ruffled petals edged in the form of a scarlet. Having a strong immune system, these flowers are easy to grow and thus a favorite among gardeners. The floribunda lavender roses are developed after crossbreeding different varieties of roses and some of the varieties include Burgundy Iceberg, Perfume Perfection, Enchanted Evening and Cotillion.

    Grandifloras

    • These rose bushes are similar to floribundas, but are larger in size and the flowers resemble hybrid tea roses. The Melody Parfumee is a popular variety of the grandifloras family. Melody Parfumee are deep purple flowers that turn to soft lavender color as they grow older. Producing an intense fragrance, these flowers keep blooming all through the summer season and can grow up to 5 feet in height. Melody Parfumee lavender roses are hardy U.S. Department of Agriculture Plant Hardiness Zones 5 to 9 and the foliage of the flower is deep green in color and tends to form a bush if left unattended.

    Climbing Lavender Roses

    • Any variety of roses, including the hybrid tea roses, floribunda and grandifloras, can develop into a climbing rose plant. The canes of these plants are longer, more flexible and the plant can reach heights up to 8 feet. Night Owl is a popular climbing lavender rose variety.

    Miniature Lavender Roses

    • From 6 to 36 inches high, miniature rose plants are hybrid forms, which are repeat bloomers instead of single bloomers. Some varieties of miniature lavender roses are Sweet Chariot, Blue Peter and Demitasse.

    Shrubs and Hedge Lavender Roses

    • Shrub lavender roses are plants that take the form of a shrub while hedge lavender roses are those that are used to form hedges or borders. Some lavender shrub roses are Lavender Dream, Blue Boy, Outta the Blue and Lavender Lassie, while fragrant Lavender Simplicity is a popular hedge rose plant.
