Upstage
Definition: (1) The "top" of the stage; the area of the stage farthest from the audience; (2) in performance, to purposefully draw attention from another actor in a scene.
Examples: (1) The actor walked upstage and waited for her cue. (2) I desperately hoped he would not try to upstage me again in our scene.
