How to Uncover Cheating
- 1). Look for any unexplained change in attitude. If your significant other is more cold, distant or even more affectionate, it could be a sign of guilt.
- 2). Look for unexplained time away, such as staying out late more often or working more.
- 3). Use your nose. Be on guard if you catch an unfamiliar scent such as perfume or shampoo on your partner. Also take note if your significant other all of a sudden uses scented products more.
- 4). Notice if your significant other calls or texts more often. You should be very suspicious if you are not allowed to look at the text, speak to the friend/parent-in-law on the phone or if your significant other deletes call history.
- 5). Notice if your significant other starts caring a lot more about appearances. New clothes or more attention to hair styling can be a tipoff.
- 6). Be on guard if you find your significant other without a wedding ring more often.
- 7). Notice if your significant other removes signs of his or her commitment, such as photos from the wallet or toys from the car.
- 8). Follow up on any lies you catch. If your significant other lied about something, find out the truth.
- 9). Pay attention to how his coworkers treat you and him. Also pay attention to the decoration on your significant other's work desk or office. If your photo is not there, while one of Aunt May and Uncle Joe are, that could be a sign of low emotional attachment to you or a way to hide a relationship with you.

Hang out with your significant other's friends alone and note if they are very hesitant to spend time with you alone or if they treat you differently.
Do not directly ask your significant other's friends unless you are very sure that you are being cheated on. If your significant other confided in them, they most likely will tell your significant other. An overly dramatic response from your significant other could be a sign for alarm. Otherwise, telling outsiders of your lack of trust in your significant other can be humiliating. - 11
Confront him calmly if you are convinced he is cheating. Do not be accusatory and try not to be emotional. People become defensive if accused.
