    • 1). Twist both the hot and cold water valves, located beneath the kitchen sink, all the way to the right. This shuts off the local water to the faucet. Remove the old faucet.

    • 2). Install the rubber gasket onto the base of the new Peerless faucet. This gasket provides a seal to prevent leaks between the faucet and the top of the sink.

    • 3). Mount the spray support in the far right hole on top of the sink. Thread a locknut onto the bottom of the spray support from below. Insert one end of the sprayer hose up through the spray support. Position the sprayer over the hose. Align the tab on the bottom of the sprayer with the tab on the end of the sprayer hose. Push up on the hose quick connect and snap the hose onto the sprayer. Pull down on the hose to make certain that the connection is secure.

    • 4). Insert the other end of the sprayer hose up though the middle hole in the top of the sink. Align the tabs on the hose end with the tab on the bottom of the faucet body. Push up on the quick connect and snap the hose onto the bottom of the faucet. Pull down on the hose to ensure the connection is secure.

    • 5). Position the faucet on the sink, inserting the threaded shafts on the bottom of the faucet into the mounting holes on top of the sink. Thread a locknut, by hand, onto each of the faucet shafts. Turn the locknuts clockwise to tighten each securely up against the bottom surface of the sink.

    • 6). Connect both the hot and cold supply lines to the shafts underneath the faucet. Make certain that you connect the hot line to the corresponding shaft beneath the hot water handle, and the cold line to the corresponding shaft beneath the cold water handle on the faucet. Tighten the nut connecting the lines to the faucet, using an adjustable wrench.

    • 7). Unscrew and remove the aerator by turning it clockwise. The aerator is located on the tip of the faucet spout. Be careful not to drop the aerator down the sink drain. Pry off the spout cap and unscrew the spout, using an adjustable wrench. Place a coin into the notches on top of the diverter and twist counter-clockwise to remove the diverter. Install the spout and spout cap.

    • 8). Twist both the hot and cold water valves beneath the sink to the left, opening the sink's water supply. Fully open both the hot and cold water faucet handles, and allow the water to run for one minute.

    • 9). Checking for any faucet leaks, especially at the supply line connections beneath the sink. Shut off both the hot and cold water handles on the faucet. Screw the aerator onto the tip of the faucet spout and install the diverter.
