    • 1). Click the "Start" button and click "My Computer". You can also double click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, if you have one. The "My Computer" window will appear.

    • 2). Double click "Local Disk (C:)" unless Windows is installed on a different drive on your computer. If so, then double click that specific drive.

    • 3). Double click your "Documents and Settings" folder. If you do not see files and folders in this window, click on "Show the Contents of this Drive" under "System Tasks" in the task pane.

    • 4). Double click your user name in the "Documents and Settings" folder. Double click the "Send To" folder. If you don't see the "Send To" folder, don't panic. In most cases, it is hidden by default. To find the "Send To" folder, click "Tools" in the toolbar, and then click on "Folder Options". Click on the "View" tab and select "Show Hidden Files and Folders". Click "Apply" and "OK" and your "Send To" folder should now be in plain sight.

    • 5). Click "File" on the toolbar and point to "New". Click "Shortcut" and the "Shortcut Wizard" will open. Follow the steps in the wizard to create a shortcut to the file or other location you want to add to your "Send To" menu. Once the shortcut has been added, that location will be added to your "Send To" menu.
