So yes in this case it would be worth while consolidating the debt into one easy payment.
Once a person has graduated from university it can take some length of time to earn a decent salary.
Life as it has always been is very expensive.
Day to day living costs are on the rise all the time.
This may cause an enormous amount of stress to any individual with a large amount of debt.
So if the student does not earn enough money to live comfortably then a consolidation option would be extremely helpful.
The loan would be extended by as much as 10 to 20 years, therefore making the repayments each month a lot more manageable.
However you must bear in mind that this will also cost much more in interest payments over the years.
I would only use this as a short term solution.
Once there is an increase in salary or income it would be best to make sure that the loan is promptly repaid.
