4 Exciting Article Writing Tips for Coaches

103 25
Although there are so many different ways to promote your coaching services in the online arena, I would still say that there's nothing better than using articles in reaching out to your target audience.
Remember, what you're selling is information and there's no better way to capture the attention of your prospects than giving them a sneak peak of what you can offer them.
So, write articles not only to educate these people but also to showcase your expertise in your niche; do the process right and I can guarantee you that people will flock your website in no time at all.
Here are some useful article writing tips to keep in mind:
  1. Talk about the problems that you solve.
Based on personal experience, online users are most likely to pay attention if you talk about the things that they're struggling with or those things that they're going through.
So, talk about the problems that can be solved by signing up to your coaching programs.
If you're helping people on how to improve the quality of their lives, then write articles about repairing a broken marriage, finding the right job, or improving one's self-esteem.
These types of topics will surely help you get your prospects to pay attention.
  2. Offer useful information.
You would want your target audience to see you as the solution to their problems.
    So, offer them exactly that.
Tell them how they can solve their pressing issues or if applicable, how to realize their goals.
Instead of writing regular articles, I would recommend that you create how-to or tips list type of articles.
You'll easily be able to earn the trust and respect of these people if you take charge and if you direct them to the right direction.
  3. Leave your readers wanting for more.
You don't want to tell your readers every single information that they're looking for in your articles.
You need to leave them wanting for more to make it much easier for you to send them to your website.
What I suggest is to give them just enough information to prove to them that you're really an expert in your niche.
Then, tell them that should they want to get more free, useful information, they just need to clickthrough your resource box.
  4. Keep it short and simple.
One thing that you need to know about your target audience is that they have very limited attention span.
You cannot really expect them to spend more than a couple of minutes on one article.
So, do them and yourself a favor and keep your articles relatively short.
400-600 words would be just fine.
Also, ensure that your articles are very easy to understand.
Write them using everyday words and keep your sentences short as much as possible.
In addition, I would also recommend that you make your articles scannable.
Make use of short paragraphs and sub headings when and as needed.
