Getting Rid of Man Boobs: Man Boobs and Erection Troubles
I was asked if having trouble getting an erection could be in any way related to having man boobs.
Before answering this I have to make one thing clear: I am not a doctor! My advice is based on layman research and personal experience.
If you are truly concerned, or if you have actual medical condition that requires medical attention then you should seek it.
With that being said, of course there's probably at least an indirect relation between the two.
Both are related to the level of hormones in your body, in particular testosterone.
One of the major contributors to gynecomastia is too little testosterone relative to estrogen and cortisol.
It's that imbalance that can cause guys to retain fat where we don't want it, and in some cases to develop actual breast tissue.
To eliminate the man boobs, you're going to have to boost your levels of testosterone.
Like I said, I'm not a doctor, but I know enough to say be able to say with confidence that more testosterone equals more boners.
A second thing to consider is your level of physical fitness.
Erection trouble and man boobs can both result from and be made worse by poor blood circulation.
Usually this is a direct consequence of a sedentary lifestyle.
If you're always on the sofa, watching TV, eating Cheetos, never doing exercise, then what do you suppose is going to happen? If you guessed poor circulation and a dismal Physical fitness level, then you're right.
I know I personally experienced a dramatic improvement on both fronts when I got up off the couch and did something! And lastly we have poor diet.
The quality of your diet can make both your hormone levels and physical fitness levels either better or worse.
Good quality foods high in protein and fiber and low in saturated fats that are as unprocessed as possible will better your blood circulation and help regulate your hormones.
Those same foods would also compliment your efforts in the gym, helping you both lose man boobs and bump up your testosterone.
Of course the lack of these foods and an excess of fatty, sugary processed foods will...
Well what do you think? Does one directly cause the other? I really can't say, like I said, I'm not a doctor.
But it's pretty evident that they do have similar causes.
And if you're having trouble with one department, then it shouldn't be a great surprise if you have trouble with the other.
The good news is that if it turns out that both are caused by the same reason, then they can both be fixed by the same means.
Mainly fixing your diet and getting off the sofa! I'd like to mention here that I've written other pieces and go into greater detail about how that can be done on my blog.
