How to Remove Blood From a Goose Down Comforter
- 1). Remove the goose down comforter from the bed. Lay the comforter on a hard, flat surface. Keep the blood facing up.
- 2). Push the goose down away from the blood by pressing into the comforter with your fingers.
- 3). Pour 12 percent hydrogen peroxide into a small dish. Fill an eyedropper with the hydrogen peroxide.
- 4). Apply the hydrogen peroxide a drop at a time to the blood spot. Blot the area with a damp, white cloth.
- 5). Continue applying the hydrogen peroxide with the eyedropper and blotting with the cloth until you have removed the blood.
- 6). Blot the area with a clean, damp cloth. Pat dry with a towel. Once the comforter is dry, push the goose down back into the area like it was before the cleaning process.
