Cereal Killer

• Make your costume a play on the real-life scary serial killer with just some kitchen refuse, a fake knife and a mask. Slip into a pair of sweats and attach emptied cereal boxes to them, hot gluing or pinning them in place. Cover your face with a mask and grab your fake knife before hitting the streets as a not-quite-so-creepy cereal killer.
  
  

MP3 Player

• Dress up as your favorite music gadget this Halloween. Use two sheets of cardboard, attaching them together in sign-board fashion with thick rope so you can slip it over your head and it rests on your shoulders. Decorate the front to look like your MP3 player, complete with album art from your favorite band and the back to look like the reverse of this music player. Using a thick rope painted white and bowls to make the ear buds themselves, craft headphones to finish off your costume.
  
  

Mother Nature

• Embody all things natural by dressing up as Mother Nature. To create this costume, decorate some green garments with silk flowers. Create a wreath of flowers and vines to place on your head, and paint your face light green. Wait for viewers to ask you what you are going as, or make it clear by spelling out the words mother nature on your back using tiny flowers to create the letters.
