How Does Curvelle Work?
- Curvelle is a weight loss product promoted by the health and wellness company Isatori. It claims to be a gender specific weight loss assistant in helping women lose weight faster while improving their "radiance." It is advertised as a healthful way for women to lose weight, while "revealing their genuine beauty, from the inside out."
- Curvelle works by using a specific blend of herbs and other products to manipulate the body into a healthier lifestyle. As for weight loss, Curvelle uses a blend of caffeine, green tea, raspberry ketones (Razberi-K), and cinnamon extract. The caffeine and green tea are used to boost the users metabolism, effectively helping to burn more fat. The Razberi-K is a newer addition to the weight loss market, without much research to back it, but is believed to stimulate the nor-epinephrine in your body to help weight loss. The final weight loss ingredient is cinnamon extract, which in high doses has been show to limit sugar cravings and help control blood sugar levels.
- One additional ingredient which is not normally found in a weight loss product is elderberry. Curvelle also markets the products ability to affect your outer body to "reveal radiant, glowing skin". Elderberry is believed to help in that process by using its anthocyanins and antioxidants to repair your skin and hair. Antioxidants and anthocyanins are both believed to help with staving off the aging process, and even reversing some of the damage.
- Like any diet pills, Curvelle is not without its controversy. Though caffeine and green tea have a long history of weight loss research to back their claims (Richard Bruno, PhD, RD, The Journal of Nutrition, Feb 2008), both razberi-k and the cinnamon extract "Cinnulin," are still lacking in testing outside of the Isatori laboratory. As with any weight loss supplement, any user of Curvelle should first contact a doctor and weigh the possible risks before purchasing and using Curvelle as part of their weight loss regimen.
