We Can Know The Plan Of God For Our Life
The reason why a lot of Christians are unaware of His plan or does not understand what is going on is because they are using their natural senses and we will never know anything as long as we are operating in the flesh; that is why it is commonly said that no one know the mind of God.
God is a Spirit and those who come to Him must come in spirit and in truth.
So by His Spirit, He will reveal things to those who walk upright.
He revealed to Abraham what He was about to do in the city of Sodom.
In Genesis 18:17-18 the Lord said, shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him.
Verse 20 and 21 read and the Lord said, because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and because their sin is very grave I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me and if not, I will know.
So the Lord revealed to Abraham His plan which gave Abraham the opportunity to save his nephew, Lot who lived in Sodom.
God revealed His plan to Abraham and He will reveal His plan for us to us because we are the seed of Abraham and heirs to the promise.
Isaiah 42:9 read behold, the former things have come to pass and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.
It is the will of God to reveal His plan for us to us but because of our natural thinking or unbelief; we oftentimes would miss it.
We have a right to know the mind of God for us because we have been made the righteousness of God by Christ Jesus.
Jesus knew everything because God revealed everything to Him and 1st John 4:17 read as He is, so are we in this world.
Therefore like Jesus, we can know what is in the mind of God for us because we abide in Him.
The mistake that many have made including me is trying to figure out God's plan or by trying to help Him out to perform it.
He does not need our help because His plan for us is perfect in every way.
The only thing that He wants us to do is to believe and trust Him; He will do the work and He will reveal it to us.
Yes the things that are happening in our life right now might seem like a puzzle that has been overturned and all the pieces are scattered on the floor but God knows where every piece fix and as He is putting it together; He will cause us to understand.
We do not have to be ignorant to the plan of God for us because it is His will that we should know it.
His will for us is not a mystery, why would something that concerns us be a mystery; that does not make any sense and He knows it, that is why He is willing to make known to us His plan for us.
