How to Draw Lady Gaga Step by Step
- 1). Find a picture of Lady Gaga that you want to copy; you can use an album cover, a magazine layout or a picture from the Internet.
- 2). Draw an oval shape onto your white paper. This will form the shape of her face.
- 3). Draw faint lines centrally both horizontally and vertically through the oval to make a cross. These will form facial guidelines.
- 4). Draw another faint horizontal line to divide the lower half of the face. Draw the nose between the two horizontal lines, so the bottom of the nose is on the lower line. Sketch out the nose and a nostril on either side.
- 5). Draw two circles for the eyes across the central horizontal guideline. These will form the eye sockets. The eyebrows will sit at the top of each circle. Draw the eyeball floating in the center of the socket. Work on the shape of the eyes, Lady Gaga has large, almond-shaped eyes. The distance between the two eyes is usually the width of another eye.
- 6). Color the center of the eyeball; this is called the iris. Lady Gaga wears colored contact lenses, so her eye color can vary between pictures. Inside the iris, draw the pupil, which is the darkest bit of the eye.
- 7). Draw her eyelashes on the top of each eye using firm brush strokes; this will make them look fuller and thicker.
- 8). Draw a faint horizontal line to divide the bottom section again. The bottom of the lips will rest on the dividing line you have just drawn. Draw a line for where the lips meet and then draw the top lip. To work out how wide the mouth should be, draw two vertical lines from the inside of the irises downwards; this will give you the correct width of the lip.
- 9). Draw the hair starting from the parting outward. Lady Gaga usually has a thick set of bangs; this will depend on your picture.

Add on any makeup that Lady Gaga is wearing in your chosen picture. Lady Gaga typically wears dark heavy eyeliner, which you can create by pressing firmly with your pencil onto the lower section of the eye. Lady Gaga often wears lipstick; use your colored pencils for this. Lady gaga is very experimental with make up and often draws designs on her face -- including lightning and stars -- so you will need to capture this on your own picture.
