Kacoon "Coon" was my beloved Maine Coon Mix. He passed away on June 16, 2008 from complications of a hypolastic trachea and was 7 years old.
I got Kacoon when he was eight weeks old. He was rescued from a shelter and made his way into my heart. Kacoon was very strong willed even as sick as he was. He loved spending time with the family and would follow us around more like a dog. He would sit next to me as I worked on the computer.

He also loved to talk and would always answer when spoken too. Kacoon was an excellent jumper and could easily leap five feet and looked like he was levitating rather than jumping. He loved furry catnip mice and loved mewing loudly to get our attention when he caught one. Kacoon was an indoor only cat but loved his outdoor cat enclosure. He would bring us to the door meowing on beautiful days when he wanted to go outside. He was very persistent and would not give up until we took him outside.
