Willpower is what people tell you to have when you are trying to stay on a diet.
I take it to mean that you should starve yourself and then feel like you are doing everything you can to lose excess weight.
I knew there had to be a better way.
Here are some ways to lose weight if you do not have willpower and do not want to starve yourself in order to lose weight.
  • Choose a day to start your new, diet, lifestyle, or whatever you want to call your new diet.
  • Clear out your refrigerator and pantry by giving away and throwing away anything that you know you will not be eating for awhile.
    This includes chips, cookies, candy, soda, and anything else that is unhealthy junk food.
  • Go to the grocery store and purchase foods that you can eat regularly, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and other healthy, low calorie foods.
  • Get enough sleep every night.
    This has recently been proven to have a huge effect on your body's ability to lose weight.
  • Walk or do some other form of light exercise for at least fifteen minutes each day.
    This will help to boost your metabolism so that you body will easily adjust to your new weight.
  • Think about what you are going to eat every day.
    Plan your meals in advance and take food with you if you will be at work or away from home for more than a few hours.
  • Keep something with you at all times so that you will not be tempted to eat any junk food.
  • Weigh yourself once a week.
    Write down your weight so that you can track your progress over time.
Follow these tips and you will lose weight.
