How to Make a Naruto Star Out of Paper
- 1). Fold the black construction paper in half lengthwise. Rub your nail along the crease, then unfold the paper. Refold the paper--this time reversing the crease--and run your nail along the fold once again.
- 2). Unfold the paper and tear it in half carefully, pulling the paper apart at the crease. Set one of the pieces aside.
- 3). Fold one piece of paper lengthwise into thirds to make a long, thin strip. Fold each end of the strip up about 1 inch.
- 4). Take one corner of the first fold and fold it diagonally to create a triangle. Then, fold the triangle from the bottom up to make a thicker triangle. Repeat this for the other end of the strip.
- 5). Fold one end of the paper strip on a diagonal and upward to create a bigger triangle. Repeat this for the opposite side.
- 6). Fold the triangular flaps toward each other so that you have a parallelogram shape. The bottoms of the two triangle folds will be touching.
- 7). Repeat Steps 3 through 6 for the other piece of paper. Unfold the final folds you created in Step 6 and stack the pieces on top of each other in a cross formation.
- 8). Refold one tip to its original fold that you created in Step 6. Then, refold the tip directly to the left of the first tip. Refold the tip directly to the left of the last tip.
- 9). Take the last tip and fold it so that the end slips underneath the first tip. Punch a hole in the center of shuriken with a hole punch.
