Art may seems like fun and games -- and it is! -- But I realized that my child is actually learning a lot through exploring the arts and doing art activities. Learning to create and appreciate visual knowledge is may be more important than ever to the development of the next generation of children as they grow up. My child is gaining useful life skills through art, so I am encouraging them to be more creative, and I had noticed that the children doing arts, are picking up these skills in their life day by day:-
1. Self-Expression and Creativity - Children express themselves through art on a fundamental level. Sometimes their artwork is the manifestation of that expression, but more often, the physical process of creating is the expression. In an arts program, your child will be asked to recite a monologue in 6 different ways, create a painting that represents a memory, or compose a new rhythm to enhance a piece of music. If children have practice thinking creatively, it will come naturally to them now and in their future career.

2. Social & Emotional Skills: -I had seen many times that he can express his feelings and emotions in a safe way. He had learned to control his emotions and recognize that he can express and handle negative as well as joyous feelings through positive action.

3. Decision Making: According to a report by Americans for the Arts, art education strengthens problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. I am totally agreed with this. The experience of making decisions and choices in the course of creating art carries over into other parts of life.

4. Problem Solving - Artistic creations can are born through the solving of problems. Problem solving skills are exercised in experimenting with art supplies and observing cause and effect. Decision making is constant and continuous in assembling and decorating art and craft projects. Spatial relations and visual thinking skills are engaged and strengthened.

5. Developing perceptual abilities- Awareness of colors, shapes, forms, lines, and textures result as children observe these and try to replicate them through art.

The good news is that all children are endowed with massive creative potential. Sadly, the emphasis tends to be on standardized testing and as such parents' don't always give their kids the freedom to explore new ideas, making it increasingly difficult for children to follow their creative instincts.

I recently came to know about CreationsBox which is a platform that helps parents to unleash creative mind of their children. Recognition makes children feel great and motivates them to keep creating and exploring new ideas stuff. Learning to create and appreciate visual aesthetics may be more important than ever to the development of the next generation of children as they grow up.I will strongly recommend to try this CreationsBox.com. It is free, easy to use and allows our kids to be more creative and be proud of their creativity.
